Carrots : Carrots are excellent source of vitamin A. Taking raw carrots or carrot juice will help improve the health of your skin and eyes. 100 g of raw carrot has 836 mcg of vitamin A content.
Animal liver: It is a very rich source of vitamin A and minerals. Beef, pork, turkey or fish provides about 6500 mcg of vitamin A from 100 gm. Vitamin A from animal sources is more easily absorbed by the body.
Sweet potato: Sweet potato is packed with generous amount of vitamin A which provides 709 mcg from 100 gm. Sweet potatoes contain beta carotene which can be converted to vitamin A inside the body.
